Glassly Pro Subscription Terms

Tetramo, Inc. — Subscription Terms for Glassly Plus, Glassly Pro, and transcription hour packs

Effective Date: September 16, 2026
Last Updated: September 16, 2026

These terms apply to the Glassly Plus and Glassly Pro subscriptions and to transcription hour packs purchased in the Glassly app, provided by Tetramo, Inc. (“Tetramo,” “we,” “us”). By purchasing, you agree to these terms in addition to our Privacy Notice.

1. Plans and what they include

Every Glassly account gets a monthly allowance of cloud transcription (live captions, translation, and speech-to-text) and of AI assistant credit, usable across miniapps that use the Glassly assistant. Glassly Plus and Glassly Pro are paid plans that raise those allowances, with Pro providing the largest. Paid plans are bigger allowances, not unlimited use.

  • The current allowance for each plan is shown in the app under Settings > Membership and on the purchase screen. Those figures are the ones that apply to your account.
  • Prices are shown by the App Store or Google Play in your local currency, including any applicable tax, before you confirm a purchase. The price shown at purchase is the price you pay for that period.
  • Allowances reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC), regardless of when your subscription renews. Unused allowance does not roll over.
  • Allowances cover usage funded by Glassly. Usage paid for with your own API keys (see section 5) does not count against them.
  • Prices and plan allowances are subject to change. We may change the price of a plan or the allowance it includes. Price changes for an existing subscription are applied through your app store, which will notify you and may ask you to agree before the new price takes effect. Material changes to allowances will be announced in the app before they take effect.

2. Billing and auto-renewal

  • Glassly Plus and Glassly Pro are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, monthly or yearly, at the price shown at purchase.
  • Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase. We never see or store your payment details.
  • Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Switching between plans, or between monthly and yearly billing, is handled by your app store. The store determines when the change takes effect and how any remaining time is credited.

3. Transcription hour packs

  • Hour packs add a fixed number of hours of cloud transcription to your account. They are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and do not renew.
  • The pack sizes and prices available are shown in the app and in your app store at the time of purchase, and are subject to change.
  • Purchased hours never expire. Each month your plan allowance is used first; once it runs out, further transcription draws from your purchased balance.
  • Hour packs add cloud transcription time only. They do not add AI assistant credit.
  • Hours are tied to your Glassly account. They are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Hour packs require a Glassly account. They are not available in guest mode.

4. Cancellation and refunds

  • Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or from Settings > Membership > Manage subscription in the Glassly app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your plan until then.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their store policies. If a purchase is refunded, the associated plan allowance or hour balance is revoked.

5. Fair use, your own API keys, and service

  • Allowances are for the account holder’s personal, non-commercial use through the Glassly app and any paired glasses, unless Tetramo authorizes business or commercial use. A paid subscription alone does not grant that authorization. Automated, resold, or abusive usage may be limited.
  • Cloud features depend on third-party providers and network availability. Brief interruptions or degraded service may occur.
  • You may add your own API keys for supported services in Settings > API Keys. Requests made with your own keys are billed by that provider, are not subject to Glassly allowances, and are not counted toward them.
  • When you reach a monthly allowance, the affected cloud feature pauses until the allowance resets, you upgrade your plan, you buy an hour pack (transcription only), or you add your own API key.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL and, where required, notified in the app. Continued use of a paid feature after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
